A Mourning Son

Despite the happy moment that Charles and his mom shared earlier in 2022, the happy story stopped in September of that year after Queen Elizabeth passed away. He followed behind her coffin during her funeral service to show his support and love for the monarch.

This was a simple glimpse of Charles’s heartbreak, which he endured to take on the Queen’s responsibilities. And while Her Majesty always guided him when he was young, it is now the Prince’s role to lead his constituents.
