A Sheer Grit
It’s no secret that Queen Elizabeth loves corgis and had, in fact, tons of them when she was still agile. However, she also adored horses; so much so that she bred, cared for, rode, and owned a lot while still active.
This passion rubbed off on her son, Charles, who also trained to become a rider. This picture was taken in 1980 at Sandown Park’s steeplechase course, and this action shot tells us the Prince of Wales knew what he was doing.
