It has been over a week since she arrived at animal control. Like other shelters, this one didn’t offer pit bulls up for adoption. It was only a matter of time before they would resort to alternatives like putting Lilo down.
Luckily, two weeks after her arrival, she was relocated to the Merit Pit Bull Foundation. According to their website, they strive to show bully-type dogs in good light. At least, she was now among her kind and with people who understood her better than anyone else.
