MORE THAN A NAME

No one knows what her previous owners called her, but Lilo fits. And those who are familiar with animated works should be familiar with the name. The animated sci-fi “Lilo & Stitch” is the basis for Lilo’s naming.

The film tells the story of a girl who adopts a dog from a local dog pound. Surprisingly, the adopted dog is a genetically-modified creation designed to cause chaos. And it’d escaped from its creator and taken refuge on earth. Given similarities in the stories, the name Lilo fit to a tee.
