The Original Plan

At 23, Sara had already taken care of over ten kids, most of whom were little ones. After she and her husband got licensed in accordance with the law, they began receiving one call after another, asking if they could take in more children.

One day, the couple was asked if they were willing to foster a three-year-old boy named Michael. However, the caller simply requested that the child be supervised for three days, during the weekend—but this turned into weeks and months.
