The Hardest Part About Adoption

It wasn’t as easy as 1, 2, 3. Sara said the hardest part about the adoption process was the rollercoaster of emotions she and her husband had to deal with. While they were supportive of a possible reunification, they suddenly had to shift gears and open their hearts for adoption.

This went on for years, and having a Type A personality meant that Sara longed for a fast pace. But because she knew this would be worth it, she said she let herself go and enjoyed the moment.
