The McCallister household is akin to a zoo in “Home Alone,” and Kevin’s cousins are usually the hyenas. But there’s Sondra, the third offspring of Leslie and Frank, and the unsung chill vibe in the chaos. She’s not thrilled when Kevin sabotages the pizza fest, but who would be? At least she’s not plotting his downfall like Buzz.
Towards the end of the movie, we find her cozied up on the sofa, engrossed in “It’s a Wonderful Life” with a French twist. Oh, and let’s not forget—she made a cameo in “Home Alone 2: Lost in New York.” A bit-part, maybe, but with Sondra, it’s always quality over quantity.
