Although Matt Doherty, the Harvey, Illinois native, was as silent as snowfall in the iconic holiday movie, his career picked up later. Matt skated his way into our hearts as Les Averman in the “Mighty Ducks” trilogy, a role that had him quacking to breakout stardom.
But hey, even a rising star sometimes faces a twinkle-less sky. Post-Mighty Ducks, Doherty dabbled in a bit of this and that, hitting a minor high note with the 2014 indie horror film “Hollows Grove.” Fast forward to today, and he’s popped up in a few TV shows, making sure the world hasn’t forgotten that endearing Averman charm.
