Life post-Jeff McCallister has been pretty sweet for Michael C. Maronna. He swung over to Nickelodeon, bringing pre-teen angst to life on “The Adventures of Pete & Pete,” and even did a bit of soul-searching in movies like “What Alice Found.” But don’t think Maronna just vanished into the Hollywood Bermuda Triangle. The dude’s been busy with some pretty nifty gigs off-camera.
From serving as a generator wizard on superhero series like “Jessica Jones” and “Iron Fist,” to a cameo in “High School Confidential,” it seems he’s found the secret sauce to remaining cool without stealing the spotlight. Ah, the fine art of staying relevant without screaming, “Look at me!”
