The Sacrifice
Khan tried his best to save the baby from the snake’s reach and exerted all his force so the snake could not bite. However, while Catherine successfully pulled the little one out of the situation and placed her in a safer space, she was seconds late in rescuing Khan.
Before she could drag Khan out of the yard, the snake bit the poor dog. Khan was paralyzed immediately, and even if Catherine was still trembling and crying, she managed to call her husband and the emergency hotline. They rushed the dog to the nearest animal hospital and let out a cry while waiting for the doctor.
