Trusting Khan
On regular days, the father of the family would go out and work. This means only mom, Catherine, their daughter, and Khan would remain at home. With Khan being so friendly and the baby enjoying Khan’s company, the couple had become confident in leaving them in one place together.
Catherine had become assured and confident about leaving their little one with Khan. She would usually do household chores around the house while Khan and the child would be left together in one place. She didn’t hesitate to do this, and she was happy they seemed to have found a guardian.
