A New Beginning
As a graduate of Duke University, Katie encountered no barrier in getting a job. Her new position was as an integrated service manager at a construction company named GE Johnson. Very happy at this timely blessing, she excelled in her efforts to get a place to live.
The bitter experience of the past made her somewhat introverted, and she wanted to have her time alone for some time. That is why she did not entertain the idea of sharing her abode with anyone.
