When it comes to sports apparel, manufacturers sometimes miss the mark, as was evident in the 1997 movie “Batman & Robin.” The campy nature of the superhero suits, particularly the ‘Batgirl’ suit worn by Alicia Silverstone, featuring embossed abs and exaggerated curves, became the film’s most recognizable feature.

It’s uncertain what the creator of Team USA’s speed suits was thinking. But even the athletes seem a bit uncomfortable and embarrassed by their outfits, which appear to have questionable stains around the groin area.
