Run From the Sea Monster
It’s harmless to teach kids about sea monsters even if they don’t exist, as long as it’s just for fun. But seaweed does exist and can make an incredibly nutritious addition to one’s diet.

We know this because it’s got iodine and countless other vitamins and minerals. However, Sargassum, a type of brown seaweed, can release poisonous gases when it decomposes. So while sea monsters are a myth, seaweed can have both benefits and drawbacks. That would explain this dad’s scary behavior.
