Some Russians believe getting pooped on by a bird brings good fortune. However, in this picture, the man appears to have gone to great lengths to increase his chances of getting pooped on by burying himself in the sand.

This behavior is risky and can lead to a host of problems if he’s unlucky enough to contract an infection from this incident. It might be wiser for him to rely on more conventional good luck charms, like a horseshoe or a rabbit’s foot.
