Frightening Flamingo

Part of the zookeeper’s job is to ensure that the animals are not fed by tourists. While many patrons are excited about feeding the animals, the experience can be overwhelming when the animal is close.

With statistics showing that there have been roughly 256 zoo injuries in the last three decades, it’s also better to be safe. The American Flamingo is unlikely to cause any such injuries, though. So this woman may simply be frightened by strange curvature of the bird’s neck.
