Gene Hackman – Age 93
Gene Hackman, the two-time Academy Award-winning actor, had a career spanning from 1956 to 2004. He earned Oscars for his roles in “The French Connection” and “Unforgiven,” and also received three more nominations for “Bonnie and Clyde,” “I Never Sang for My Father,” and “Mississippi Burning.”
Although he officially retired in 2004 after his role in Welcome to Mooseport, he did briefly return to narrate two TV documentary movies in 2016 and 2017. Hackman has now focused on a career as a novelist and has authored several books.
