Sir Cliff Richard, an English singer/actor, has had a successful six-decade career with over 250 million records sold worldwide. Early on, Richard was known as the British answer to the first wave of American rock and roll musicians, such as Elvis Presley and Little Richard.
However, he soon distinguished himself as one of the most popular and cherished singers in Britain. In 2021, the British crime drama “Line of Duty” received criticism for referencing the singer in one of its episodes.
