Jim Carter – Age 74

Comfortably past his 70s, Jim Carter continued to entertain his fans with his iconic role as Mr. Carson in the sequel of the hit series “Downton Abbey.” His other popular roles include “Knightfall,” “Shakespeare in Love,” and “Brassed Off.”

Carter has been happily married to Imelda Staunton, who is widely known as Dolores Umbridge in the “Harry Potter” series, since the ’80s. The couple met while working on the play “Guys and Dolls” and worked together in “Downton Abbey 2” and “The Canterville Ghost.”
