Barbara Mandrell – Age 74
Barbara Mandrell enjoyed a career spanning from 1959 to 2000. She was born in Texas in 1948 and found success as a singer/actress. She is perhaps best remembered by TV audiences for her variety show, “Barbara Mandrell and the Mandrell Sisters,” which many believe greatly contributed to her success in the music industry.
As a singer, Mandrell recorded more than 20 studio albums. Following her retirement from both music and acting in 2000, she now resides with her husband Ken Dudney, whom she married in 1967.
