The late Alan Rickman’s film career may have started in his 40s, but he was thriving on stage and on British television for about a decade before that. That was all before he became a household name as Severus Snape in the “Harry Potter” film franchise.
If he hadn’t taken on the role of Hans Gruber for 1988’s “Die Hard,” we wouldn’t have seen him in other on-screen projects like “Alice Through the Looking Glass.”
