Christoph Waltz – Started At Age 53
Before getting cast as Waltz as Col. Hans Landa in “Inglourious Basterds,” Christoph Waltz had briefly appeared on German and British television for decades. After all, his native language is German, but he’s eloquent in English and French and can even mimic Italian speech.
Since acting in Quentin Tarantino’s 2009 World War II epic at 53, he’s steadily made projects on the screen. That includes another Oscar-winning performance in 2013’s “Django Unchained.”
