Otherworldly-looking Tongues
This picture seems like it came straight from a fantasy book or movie, but it turns out that some people possess this kind of tongue. The tentacles underneath are caused by the condition of plica fimbriata, which are the folds on the underside of the tongue.
Thankfully, it does not hurt as it looks and is not as dangerous as it is in fantasy stories. However, it can cause discomfort when stuck between the teeth. People might choose either to maintain a round of antibiotics or antiseptic mouthwash.
