A Cleft Uvula
It may just look like a bell hanging at the back of our tongue, but this soft bell is called uvulas, and we need them more than we think. It helps secrete saliva, moisten the throat and mouth, and aids digestion.
It just happens that some people are born with an unusual shape, just like this guy who has two uvulas, also known as cleft uvula. Luckily, having this condition doesn’t necessarily mean it’s wrong. Most of the time, it’s just rare, but it’s not a serious malady.
