That Perfect Genetic Distribution
Gone are the days when parents would argue about which parent their child inherited most of their traits from because this family showed a perfect hand in genetic distribution. Parents pass on their traits to their children through genes, including physical abnormalities.
The guy’s right thumb displays brachydactyly type D, which produces a shorter thumb. This happens when the bones in the thumbs are shorter, but all other fingers are normal. It is an inherited condition, and one parent is enough to have the child inherit it too.
