A Symphony in Black and White
Victoria Krus was born with half of her face white, as seen in the photo. Her condition is unilateral vertigo, with white patches affecting only one body area. This condition results from melanocytes not working enough to produce melanin, which gives the skin its color.
There is no one-time cure for the condition, as some patches disappear. Doctors also prescribe treatments that balance the skin tone. Krus has learned to embrace her unique look and take the modeling world by storm.
