An Accident? Or Something Else?
Sanders was naturally approached by the police and questioned about what had happened between him and Antonio. His version of the story never changed: he had a revolver and was showing it to his friend, and accidentally shot him in the head.
While the police doubted Sanders’s versions of the events, they did not have enough evidence or witnesses to go with an alternative theory. Sanders was eventually taken to court on charges of dangerous firearm possession and reckless homicide.
