The Process Of Growing Bees
The process of laying eggs is complicated, with the queen examining every cell in the honeycomb before laying an egg in it. The process takes roughly one second per egg, and a queen can lay about 2,000 eggs per day. That means her job is done within 35-minutes.
Then the worker bees take over, feeding the larvae a mixture of pollen and honey while inside their cells. This process carries on for roughly 18-days until the larva evolves into a pupa then grows into a fully developed worker bee.
