Long Live The Queen
Unfortunately, the pesticide killed an essential part of the hive—the queen. Losing a queen could be dangerous for the hive, as it could lead to the extinction of the colony. Some colonies, however, react quickly and work hard to fertilize a new queen bee.
Thankfully for this hive, Glover found it in time and could help it to cultivate a new queen. He removed the honeycomb from the wall, much to the relief of the homeowners. The next move would be to help this queenless hive back on its feet.
