Developing An Immunity
Glover is so accustomed to impromptu calls about removing bees that he doesn’t leave home without his trusty bee suit. But his isn’t even a full bodysuit. In fact, he may have developed an immunity to bee stings through his years of working with them.
According to a study at the Yale School of Medicine, the allergen in bee venom can help people eventually develop immunity against its effects. Of course, that only counts for people without acute allergies to bees. So maybe Glover is just brave or has developed a resistance to the pain of bee stings.
