It Became Louder and Louder

The noise came back louder than ever, and it seemed like whatever was in the walls was growing bigger. But at least the family was able to agree on what it sounded like: A vibrating motor of some kind. But how was that possible?

They had already ruled out the house’s heat-baring resources and wild animals, and while there is a train station in Germantown, that couldn’t cause the house to make the sound like the one they’re hearing. The one thing they all agreed on, whatever was making the noise was alive.
