Desmond Mason Favors Abstract Expressionism

Basketball star Desmond Mason played for Oklahoma State University while taking up studio art. When he made it big in the sports industry, he didn’t abandon his passion for painting, considering that he revealed that this had been a massive part of his life.

“I paint by emotion, so everything’s a piece of me to some extent,” Mason once noted. As for the form of his masterpieces, he prefers abstract expressionism. These days, he focuses more on creating art.
