Todd Marinovich Coped With Problems Through Painting

Former NFL superstar Todd Marinovich didn’t have a seamlessly interesting path to success. At the height of his fame, he faced personal issues that saw him hit rock bottom. In the midst of this, he began turning to art to cope.

Marinovich got so good at this that he sold his paintings and sculptures. The athlete also received a mural project worth $20K outside the Garden Grove Gem Theater. A councilman approached the previously troubled sportsman for the job.
