A Waitress Comes Forward
Despite the palace press corps’ efforts to keep serious matters under wraps, they couldn’t always control the narrative. One of Albert II’s most scandalous moments broke in 1992 when waitress Tamara Rotolo claimed he was the father of her daughter, Jazmin Grace Grimaldi.
Rotolo filed a suit against Prince Albert II and was prepared to prove her claims. In response, the Prince took swift legal action to contest the allegations. Ultimately, the judge dismissed the case on procedural grounds.
