Woodstock was the perfect stage for bands like The Incredible String Band. These cats crafted “psychedelic folk,” fusing mind-bending music with whimsical poetry that gave reality a run for its money. Here, we see Christina ‘Licorice’ McKechnie, a force in the band’s mystic journey. But their Woodstock stint was a wild ride. Pitted against hard rock giants on stage, the crowd didn’t appreciate their mellow vibe.
Fast-forward, and the surreal story takes a darker turn. Just shy of two decades post-Woodstock, Christina vanished while hitchhiking in Arizona, never to be seen again!
