Holly had no idea that Joseph and Deke had ulterior motives. They were the owners of a local beauty parlor called Avantgarde Salon, which had previously participated in the Emerald Coast Magazine’s Top Salon competition. They have joined since 2013 and have been winning ever since.
The competition challenged salons to choose everyday locals from their communities to transform them into modelesque beauties. They would then compete against each other and the salon that did the most awe-inspiring job would be awarded for their accomplishment.
