Luciana Paluzzi
The 1960s and 1970s are often considered the second golden age of movies. Italy was one of the countries that invested in the industry, and they had one of their own, Luciana Paluzzi, to be proud of.
Having caught the eye in Italian and Hollywood films, Luciana narrowly missed out on the lead Bond girl role in “Thunderball” but landed that of assassin Fiona Volpe. According to her, the role was more fun, and the love she received for her portrayal made her realize how underappreciated she was in Italy.
