The Legacy of Chick-fil-A
One of the largest fast food chains in America is the instant chicken sandwich pioneer Chick-fil-A. The restaurant started operations in 1946 in Atlanta but got registered with its current name in 1961, and it grew to 2,826 locations across 49 states as of 2022.
The company’s business strategy surrounded a limited menu with a greater emphasis on its customer service. And even though they operated six days a week (closed on Sundays), they grossed only behind the fast food giant Mcdonald’s at $11.3 billion in 2019.
