Pregnant Doggy

The dog began licking their hands as soon as she saw them. The puppy-filled belly of Mariesa was huge, and she knew that she deserved a loving home. She and Chris had no doubt that this was the dog they were going to adopt, but they had no idea what was about to happen, and it would change their lives.

The tragic events of the dog’s life weren’t limited to being pregnant at a shelter, as Chris and Mariesa soon discovered. Storie, the Pitbull, was owned by someone who owned a backyard breeding business. It became apparent, however, how expensive housing, feeding, and caring for her would be, so they dropped her off at the shelter instead. After listening to the story, Mariesa was unable to contain her tears.
