Still More to Come
Nini was overwhelmed with emotions. If she wasn’t all smiles, tears of joy were rolling down her cheeks. It was clearly evident how happy she was, but there was still one more surprise about to come her way.
When the Texas Southern University representative, Wendall Williams, stood up to give his address, he also recognized Nini with some strong motivational words before announcing that the institution had awarded her with a $16k scholarship to attend their school and fulfill her dreams!
