The Commitment Timebomb

This classic “Zits” comic is a perfect illustration of how some people feel when their significant other questions them about commitment. Committing is easy for some and very hard for others; despite the stereotype, men aren’t the only ones who run away at any mention of the future.

Each person has his or her reasons for disliking commitment. According to Marie Claire, though, not wanting to commit can be a consequence of not wanting to grow up. That’s why it’s so common among people in their twenties.
