No, we’re not talking about the names we give to our actual pets. We’re talking about the sweet nicknames boyfriends, and girlfriends give to one another. While some people find them very corny, it’s almost impossible to resist the urge to call that special someone something lame like “sweetie” or “doll.”
But guess what? According to a survey shared by Cosmopolitan magazine, using pet names increased couple satisfaction by 16%! “Beautiful,” “gorgeous,” and “baby” are some of the most common pet names around.
