When it was in the news that Taxi Driver and The Intern star Robert De Niro was struggling financially after the pandemic hit, it was indeed shocking because last we heard, he was worth a whopping $500 million! This was revealed when Robert’s ex-wife demanded a million dollars a month as per their divorce settlement and prenuptial agreement, but he stated that his financial condition was poor.
The reason given were that he was unable to shoot for any movies, and his two major investments in Nobu and Greenwich Hotel, both suffered heavy losses.
