The Man Behind the Mask in ‘’Alien’’

Meet Bolaji Badejo, the fearless Nigerian student who stormed the sci-fi world in the 1992 blockbuster “Alien.” We see him kicking back during a filming break after terrorizing the cast on-screen. The extremely confining latex suit he rocked was reportedly more like a tough fitness challenge, making every breath a Herculean effort.

Strangely enough, the film would have been named “Star Beast,” except the writer Dan O’Bannon disliked it and went with “Alien,” which appeared many times in the script.
