Storks and Humans
Certain birds may form an emotional attachment to humans instead of bonding with other birds, especially if they were raised away from their flock. This attachment is not based on material advantage and can be considered a genuine emotional bond.

According to German folklore, storks are believed to bring babies to human houses by carrying them in baskets on their backs or their beaks. In some cultures, households would leave sweets on the windowsill as a way to indicate that they wanted to have a child.
