Spill the Coffee, and the Damage is Done

This coffee table is a marvel. These tables are built from the root systems of the Teak trees, felled previously. The root slices have been fashioned pretty uniquely. Each table is a masterpiece, and no two tables look similar. But what about those gaps?

What about a spilled drink dripping inside and turning the table into a mushroom log? Cleaning the gaps can turn into a nightmare. The best and most practical way to prevent this is to close the gaps with clear resin or acrylic stuff.
