“I make a list of things I have to do but always do something else”
People with ADHD are believed to have imbalances in motivation. One way this condition expresses itself is through procrastination. One can hyperfocus on tasks they think are interesting in one moment and then procrastinate over the same tasks later, especially if it is not interesting anymore.
This experience could also be due to some emotional conflict that needs to be targeted for better control and management. Well, as the saying goes, you can try again tomorrow!
