Cartoons had a chokehold on many of us during our childhood years. So much so that we would much rather sit in front of the television all day, detached from everything going on in the real world. And when cartoons lost their appeal, video games came to pick up the slack.

This person spent nearly half of the 7th grade faking illnesses to avoid going to school. And the catch was they got to stay home and play World of Warcraft all day.
