Robert Downey Jr. is one of the highest paid actors thanks to his career reviving movie Iron Man and his subsequent movies under the Marvel Cinematic Universe, such as The Avengers movie series. Although he is now a happily married man and a dad-of-three, he has been through a lot.

Robert was a child actor, heavily influenced by his own dad, actor and writer Robert Downey Sr. who has acted in Pound and Greaser’s Palace. In fact, he is credited for introducing his son to drugs and alcohol, and he went into a downward spiral after that, and got himself into legal trouble, too. However, Downey Jr. was able to straighten his act, forgive his dad and still remains close to him.
